Dubai Municipality requires water tanks to be cleaned at least once per year — and for good reason. Sediment, algae, bacteria, and biofilm accumulate inside storage tanks over time, contaminating your household water supply. Regular tank cleaning ensures the water coming from your taps is safe and clean.
What's included:
- Full drainage of the water tank
- Manual scrubbing of tank walls, floor, and lid interior
- High-pressure water jetting for stubborn deposits
- Removal of sediment, sludge, and algae
- Disinfection with Dubai Municipality-approved chlorine solution
- Tank refilling and water quality testing

Most residential tanks take 2-3 hours to clean. Villa ground tanks and rooftop tanks are both covered. For apartment buildings, we coordinate with building management for timing and access.
How often: Dubai Municipality mandates annual cleaning. We recommend twice yearly for villas with ground-level tanks, as these are more susceptible to sediment and algae growth. If your water has a noticeable taste, smell, or discoloration, do not wait for the annual schedule — book immediately.
